Dance Company Artyci / Milan Kozánek: As It Is [premiere]

The performance is a continuation of a research study in the purity of body expression without the use of predetermined storytelling. The body seeks and defines its place in the world and acts as an intermediary, constantly offering new changes of meanings whcih go far beyond the limits of physicality.

Dacne Company Artyci: Paraziti [film screening, 12 min.]

The film is a result of an artistic research in the topic of “Symbiosis and Autonomy”. The term symbiosis is often used only in the sense of mutually beneficial coexistence. In reality, however, it includes all models of coexistence, from mutualism to parasitism. Can symbiosis, on the surface acting seemingly harmoniously, be in fact self-destructive?

 

The performance is followed by a discussion.
