Reiter, Tomášik, Golob: Solo For Two Voices [NuDanceFest 2018]

Milan Tomášik, the founding member of Les SlovaKs dance collective comes with his latest piece, the dance interpretation of the poem Carta de Creencia by O. Paz.

A stage portrayal of the poem by the Mexican Nobel Prize laureate, Octavio Paz, is a dance narrative of the masterpiece that is firmly set in present time. The language of the performance and forms of coexistence of two poetics of the dance encounter insist on an open dialogue with text, which breaks the coordinates of time and space from the outset. The text serves as the foundation for an intimate relationship in which we engage. It explores ontology of love that cannot be grasped (merely) by understanding the connection of the two.
