Concert
Queer activist performance Mušnula aims to bring together in a radical show people of all genders, orientations and dreams. It is to evoke in the audience a whole range of sentiments – from utter love, all the way to revolt. All that is set against the backdrop of hits by Slovak pop singers such as Marika Gombitová or Beáta Dubasová.
Concept, choreography, cast: Mušnula, Anna Purkrábková
Raspberry custard, shimmers and sequins will fly in the air everywhere you look. Beneath the tinsel, however, you should seek deep messages: gay parenthood, homophobia and, last but not least, the issues of accepting one’s own body. All that is presented to the audience by the mushnula dancer Anna unafraid of using her curvy body to defend all bodies that step out of line.
