A performance about movement, words, euphemisms and what is concealed within. Communication and perception of reality are the leitmotivs of 21&COUNTING. The performance is rooted in an ironic excuse: a belated celebration of the 20th anniversary of the author on stage – an occasion for the dancer to dig deep in memory and use dance and movement as tools to talk about words and communication. 21&COUNTING wittily explores the use of political correctness and euphemisms when escaping reality. As a result, current issues of accepting people and their context problems grow deeper, what goes hand-in-hand with the lack of trust in ordinary human values.

Tomáš Danielis dances in between Brussels, Graz, Moscow, and Topoľčany. His creative focus lays on the intersection of digital/visual arts and movement/dance. A seasoned dancer, Tomáš also explores comprehension and conceptualisation of performance through space. That had led him to explore the world and creative escape into photography. For each of his projects he develops a specific set of tools and movement language. He presented his works in over twenty countries. He is author of a number of performances, inter alia Landscapes (2011), Suites (2016) or Game (2018).
