Steve Reich - Six Pianos (1973)
Steve Reich’s genre-defining piece Six Pianos will be played live on six grand pianos for the first time in Slovakia.
Before that, Reich’s Pendulum Music will be performed – a piece for suspended microphones, amplifiers speakers and performers – an iconic example of process music.
Six pianos + six dancers + six microphones in the Big concert studio of the Slovak radio. All as part of the Biela noc Bratislava 2017 festival.
BEGINNING OF PERFORMANCES: 19:00, 21:00
Duration of each performance: cca 45 minutes
