Project Batyskaf: waiting for a magic Evgus to happen

We haven’t danced together for a year and yet the world of Evgus still waits for us. Maybe this is a duet. A landscape of two bodies twisting; rivers at a confluence. Or maybe it’s a touch and a look, a funny sound, the smell of your armpit. So here we are again, following each other through the chaos of relation and play and diving into magic.

Concept/performance: Fergus Johnson, Eva Priečková

Fergus Johnson is a dance-artist. He is mostly based in Berlin but has recently been working in Athens. He is inspired by the ‘personal dance’, the dance we do in our own rooms or in clubs, for our friends and for ourselves. He particularly loves cats and weasels.

Eva Priečková is currently freelance artist mostly based in Slovakia. Her current research is focused on concept of flowing energy - beeing flow mainly in pedagogical practice. As creator she is inspired by everyday life - its simplicity and complexity at the same time, experimental music, voice and spirit.
