We continue preparations for the first SLOVAK DANCE PLATFORM

Some time ago, we closed the registration of artists for the SLOVAK DANCE PLATFORM 2020. A total of 51 works were submitted, of which 34 works were included in the selection. Unfortunately, we could not classify some of the works because they did not meet the set criteria. Due to unexpected events related to the Covid-19 crisis, the schedule for the selection of performances by the platform's dramaturgical board was suspended. For this reason, we have moved the deadline for the selection of performances to the program of the first year of the dance platform in the autumn of 2020.

The closing date for the selection is set for October 18 2020, so that artists can perform their performances at the beginning of the new season and board members have the opportunity to see them live. These are mainly performances whose premiere was postponed due to the pandemic in the autumn and their video is not available. The work must therefore be listed by the date October 18 2020 (inclusive), otherwise it will not be possible to include it in the selection. The video recording of the performance must be sent immediately after its production and processing by October 20 2020 (inclusive).

At the same time, the STP jury decided to open the selection for works that were not submitted, but will be created by the deadline and meet the condition of the Slovak co-production project. Interest in registering the work and basic information about the dates of the introduction or the author's team must be sent to the e-mail address: sucasnytanec@gmail.com by June 30 2020.

We believe that in November we will be able to present you the best of the current Slovak dance scene and we will be able to welcome dance professionals from all over the world as we plan.
