Eva Urbanová is a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. In her choreographies, she aims at studying and critiquing the mechanisms of the social system, empowering women and demonstrating the concept of dualism. She concentrates on developing her own distinctive choreographic style and movement language, focusing on the use of the senses, biography of the body and meditative state of mind. One of her main success is her solo „The Essence“ which won 1st award at the Gdansk Dance Festival 2022, 2nd Choreographic Award and Public Award at the Solo Tanz Theater Stuttgart International Competition 2021 and besides others was also shown at the Jerusalem International Solo Dance Festival 2023. Her last choreography titled "Anomalie" (2022) was chosen to be part of the main programme at the Czech Dance Platform 2023.
