MFK Bochum (Marlene Ruther, Katarína Marková, Franziska Schneeberger) explores ways to get in physical touch with choreograpies seen online in pandemic times.
During the residency the group practices a form of active watching based on physical resonance. It´s a strategy to stay in contact with other artists and an examination with possibilities and boundaries of appropriation.
How close can we get with imitating, copying, sampling movement?
How far can we go with transforming athmospheres from the screen into a live performance?
