INDIVIDUALITY AND GROUP CONSCIOUSNESS

We invite everyone who is interested in contact improvisation, authentic movement expression, spontaneity and naturalness of movement to an intensive weekend workshop.
Intensive weekend workshop of contact improvisation intended for dancers, movers as well for people without previous experience.
I have been working on the topic of group work for many years, and in recent years I have been developing and verifying it in theater work. During this intensive workshop, we will deepen and explore the boundaries between our individual selves and our collective selves. We will develop the inner depth and attentione, to the concept and philosophy of thinking about the human body in creative movement with the perception of its complementarity. Likewise, to develop our group consciousness of which individuality is an integral part. Some group exercises will focus on developing the sensitivity of the group consciousness, others will focus on creativity and composition with time and space.
During contact improvisation we will enjoy its freedom and its softness and also the fluidity of the body. We will use the spine and the two main centers of gravity of the body to strengthen the support of our body but also of our partner. We will acquire the ability how to give and receive the body weight and how to create and receive impulses, etc.
During improvisation, various situations arise that cannot be predicted, so we learn to react physically intuitively. Our goal will be to develop authentic movement expression, spontaneity and naturalness of movement, which is encoded in each of us.
