Assisted solo
Custom view is an assisted solo for the dancer and choreographer Tomas Danielis. This piece is a contemplation of Danielis‘s life as an internationally working artist which lived in Austria, Belgium, Denmark Russia, Croatia and Slovakia. His life and career as a pretext for dance essay nested in a torso of unrealized performance. Talking about interpretations of reality, questions of freedom, perceptions of relationships and even of basic civil behaviour in (not so) different cultures…
Using the extensive career of Danielis and the live dramaturgy of Godovic they bring together an amalgam of various dance languages pointed by autobiography and its commentary. Questioning their validity and even Danielis himself to poetically scrutinize the society we all live in.
